Street parking is available along Mississippi Ave and nearby residential blocks. There is a small paid lot if you prefer a guaranteed spot. The avenue is also accessible by high-frequency Trimet bus line 4 that run north and south through the neighborhood. And it is a short walk from the Overlook Park and Prescott stations on the Trimet's yellow line
Most businesses on Mississippi Ave are wheelchair accessible with ramps and level entrances. Some older buildings have steps, so call ahead if you have specific needs. The sidewalks are wide and navigable for all visitors.
Retail shops typically open around 11 AM and stay open until 6 PM, though hours vary by business. Many restaurants and bars open for lunch and dinner service. Check individual business pages for exact hours.
